The key objective of this final event was to lead to a clear consensus on prioritizing policies and defining the subsequent steps necessary to shape the final Policy Set. This Policy Set will facilitate the transition of agri-food value chains towards a sustainable model.

Today PLOUTOS is kickstarting the 2nd series of Open Days, with the first event taking place at Mandalo Pella (Greece) for Sustainable Innovation Pilot 1.
Sustainable Innovation Pilot 7 aims at improving the sustainability performance of the wine sector in Cyprus by combining smart farming technologies and digital labelling solutions.
Awareness must be generated and knowledge must be shared to ensure that the necessary changes are made. Meetings such as the SCAR AKIS provide a platform for different actors to share their experiences, discuss challenges and opportunities, and develop solutions together.

The Ploutos H2020 project works with 11 Sustainable Innovation Pilots (SIPS) in 13 European countries, implementing & testing sustainability-oriented innovations (SOIs). s. Together with other initiatives, such as the Ploutos Innovation Academy, one of the tools to facilitate this exchange and horizontal learning process is the use of case studies. The tool’s purpose is to produce case studies that are accessible and pedagogical to facilitate learning across SIPs and to inform their practices.
