Collaborative and circular food systems to reduce pollution and improve health

Collaborative and circular food systems can significantly reduce pollution of the environment, in particular by addressing food waste along the agri-food value chain, and can at the same time improve health of consumers and increase the resilience of local economies and communities.

This event will present the innovative approaches of 5 European projects working in synergies along with Ploutos: FOODRUS, CO-FRESH, FAIRCHAIN and LOWINFOOD. Additionally, an expert panel will address issues related to the sustainability of food systems at local and regional level.
